This is the view from my commute. I walk across the Millennium Bridge twice a day, four days a week. Sometimes the sun is shining; many times the rain is falling, hard. Lately, on my way back home, it’s been dark. But the view is always stunning, and it never gets old.

Leaving Hampstead
Friday was my last day working in Hampstead. We are moving to Soho now—the heart of London, they say.
It’s been a wonderful year and I’m already missing Hampstead, but I can’t deny that the excitement of the move, of new things and new days is clouding the sadness.
One of the first things I noticed when I started working here was the shortness of lunch breaks and, more important, how everybody seems happy with having lunch at their desks, in front of their computers, and, most of the times, while working or reading the news.
At first it was a bit strange, now I do it too.
One of the things I like at the office is the music. I’ve always worked better at the sound of music.
